Privacy policy

1. Scope and calculator inputs

This policy covers the Korean, English and Japanese versions of Danziya (danziya.com), the newlywed calculators at wedding.danziya.com, and the infant feeding and growth site at baby.danziya.com. None of these sites offers accounts, sign-in or payments.

Values entered into our tools, such as a dog’s age, weight or birth date, and household income, assets, marital status or wedding date, are processed in your browser. The calculators do not send these inputs or results to the operator or advertising services, or save them in cookies or browser storage, except for the feeding log described below.

Vaccination calendar files are created in your browser and downloaded to your device. You control the storage and deletion of those files.

2. Feeding log (baby.danziya.com)

The feeding log at baby.danziya.com (/tracker) stores the dates, foods, reactions and notes you enter in your browser’s localStorage. Because those entries can describe a child’s allergic reactions, we describe this feature separately.

The log stays on your device and in that browser only. It is never sent to the operator, the operator cannot read it, it does not appear on your other devices or browsers, and it is not shared with advertising services.

You can delete entries one at a time, or remove them all at once by clearing site data in your browser. Clearing browser data also erases the log, so use the download control to save a copy if you need to keep it.

Because the log does not exist on the operator’s servers, there is nothing for the operator to disclose, correct or delete. You delete it yourself in your browser.

3. Site visits and hosting

We use Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting and content delivery. When you visit, Cloudflare may process your IP address, requested URL, access time, browser and device information, and security logs to deliver pages, troubleshoot failures and protect the service from malicious traffic.

We do not operate a separate server or database to retain calculator inputs. Cloudflare’s global network may process connection information outside your country. Its privacy policy explains how it processes and retains this information.

4. Google AdSense and advertising cookies

When this site serves Google AdSense ads, Google and other advertising vendors or networks may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising and prevent fraud.

Google and its partners may personalize ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. The page URL, IP address, browser information and cookie identifiers may be sent to Google and advertising partners and processed outside your country.

Processing and retention depend on the providers’ policies and your consent and advertising settings. Our calculators do not pass income, assets, dog information or other entered values to advertising services for targeting.

5. Your cookie and advertising choices

Use Google My Ad Center and Partner Ad Settings to manage personalized advertising. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party vendors through YourAdChoices and follow its links to those vendors’ policies.

Your browser’s privacy settings let you delete or block cookies. Choices apply to each browser and device; deleting cookies may also remove a saved opt-out preference.

Turning off personalized advertising does not remove all ads. Blocking cookies may affect external services, but our calculators work without advertising cookies. Reading this policy or continuing to browse does not itself constitute consent to advertising cookies.

6. Inquiries, retention and deletion

If you email us, we use your email address, any name you provide, your message and our replies only to address the inquiry or privacy request. Do not include unnecessary identity numbers, bank details or health information.

We delete inquiry information without undue delay once its purpose has been fulfilled. If retention is required by law, we explain the information, legal basis and retention period, keep it separately and delete it when that period ends. Electronic records are deleted so they cannot be recovered; any paper records are shredded.

There are no operator-held server records of calculator inputs to erase, because those inputs are processed only in your browser. Hosting and advertising providers retain and delete their records and cookies according to their policies and your settings.

7. Your rights and safeguards

You may contact the operator to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and will explain any limits imposed by applicable law.

We limit access to inquiry information to what is needed to handle it and design the service to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information. Links to external websites are subject to those sites’ privacy policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this page and its effective date when our processing practices or external services change. Where separate notice or consent is required, we provide it before implementing the change.
